Farm Animals Vets

We serve hundreds of farms across North Wales including dairy units, beef suckler units, beef rearing / finishing units of various sizes and sheep flocks, as well as providing specialist farm animal services to a number of other units.Through our facilities, equipment, knowledge acquired through our own farming enterprises, continuous training, continuous innovation and most importantly through the dedication of our staff and vets we aim to provide a farm animal veterinary service that is second to none. In the course of our day to day work on farms, we offer advice about controlling diseases and improving the profitability of livestock enterprises.

Our Farm

Although many of the vets and staff at Wern Vets are farmers’ sons, daughters, wives and many have worked in farming related industries before joining us, we felt that only through running a farming business ourselves with its day to day challenges would we fully appreciate the pressures our farming clients were under and be able to keep abreast of current agricultural issues. Our farming enterprise consists of many units within the Ruthin area and others over in Anglesey. Our extensive involvement in advanced breeding techniques of farm animals has drawn us into keeping our own stock to complement the services we offer, such as selling embryo recipients, bulls and teasers of known health status to clients. Please contact us on 01824 703066 with enquiries about our livestock sales.
